Public Key Identity or PKID is a proprietary technology developed to create customised public keys, which have attributes that become distinctive and unique to each user. A user may choose a PKID unique to himself or herself, such as mobile phone iMEI and/or SIM number, Server/notebook’s MAC address or e-mail addresses. A chosen PKID will become the seed to generate a public key through a series of key generation processes.
PKID is used for not only for encryption but provides Authenticated Sender and Recipient Identities at the client’s side without having the need for server connection. In reverse, Digital Signatures is used to Authenticate Sender’s Identity. PKID compliments Digital Signatures, strengthens and revolutionizes Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) as a whole.
